Traditionally, the berber women of Morocco have used Argan Oil as part of their daily beauty regiment.

Now, the women's cooperative that produces Argan Oil uses the profits to help provide healthcare and education to the entire community.

Argan tree plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance and the economic situation of the population. In 1999, UNESCO added the Argan tree to the World Heritage list.
